FedPoint Receives Top Designation as NH Veteran-Friendly Business
Portsmouth, NH (October 7, 2021)—FedPoint® has been designated a platinum-level business in the New Hampshire (NH) Veteran-Friendly Business Program by the NH Department of Military Affairs and Veteran Services and NH Employment Security. Platinum status is the highest level a company can earn within the program.
Launched in 2020, the program celebrates and recognizes businesses supporting the wellness of military and veteran families through practices and policies that serve to honor military experience and sacrifice, provide opportunities for career growth and financial stability, meet the unique needs of military families in innovative ways, and impact the broader community through collaborations and partnerships.
Platinum-level business are recognized for implementing criteria and strategies including:
- offering benefits to veteran employees to support continued military service
- contributing annually to the veteran community through philanthropic efforts
- supporting veteran employees who desire to promote problem-solving in their communities
- participating in collective impact initiatives in the community aimed at guiding social movement for veterans and their families
FedPoint has a deep commitment to supporting members of our armed forces and their families in a variety of ways, including philanthropic support of organizations like Veterans Count, an Easter Seals program, as well as ongoing efforts geared toward helping retiring service members successfully transition to the civilian workforce.
